Prophet Idris (Enoch) a.s.

3rd June 2017, 8 Ramadhan 1438H
Surat Maryam (Mary), Chapter 19, Verse 56 - 57:

"And mention in the Book (the Quran) Idris (Enoch).Verily! He was a man of truth, (and) a Prophet. 
And We raised him high in Heaven." (Quran 19:56-57)

Narrated Shaiban:

from Qatadah, that regarding Allah's saying: And we raised him to a high station (19:57). He said: "Anas bin Malik narrated that Allah's Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When I was brought up, I saw Idris in the Fourth Heaven." (Jami` at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 5, Book 44, Hadith 3157)

"And (remember) Isma'il (Ishmael), and Idris (Enoch) and Dhul-Kifl (Isaiah), all were from among As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). 
And We admitted them into Our mercy. Indeed, they were of the righteous." 
(Quran 21:85-86)

Surat Al-`Alaq (The Clot), Chapter 96, Verse 4:


"Who has taught (the writing) by the pen [the first person to write was Prophet Idrees (Enoch)]." (Quran 96:4)
