Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow), Chapter 2, Verse 30:

"And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority (caliph)." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know." (Quran 2:30)

What is the purpose of our existence in this world?

Surat Adh-Dhāriyāt (The Winnowing Winds), Chapter 51, Verse 56-58:

"And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.

I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me.

Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength."

Surat An-Nisā' (The Women), Chapter 4:

"O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result."

(Quran 4:59)

"And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger - those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions." (Quran 4:69)

"He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah ; but those who turn away - We have not sent you over them as a guardian." (Quran 4:80)

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "All my followers will enter Paradise except those who refuse." They said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Who will refuse?" He said, "Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me is the one who refuses (to enter it)." (Sahih Bukhari: 7280)

Why am I here?
