Angels

Angels are Allah's creation. He created Angels from light. Angels have specific duties to Allah. By history, Allah used to send Angels in form of human being to give message and reminder to human being, such as in Prophet Lot story. Angels obey to Allah, and Angels follow Allah's order.

Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow), Chapter 2, Verse 30:

2:30

"And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know." (Quran 2:30)

Angel vs Iblees

Iblees also Allah's creation. Iblees were created from fire. Before Prophet Adam created, Iblees used to obey and worship Allah. When Allah created the first mankind, Prophet Adam, Allah asked Iblees to obey to Prophet Adam, but Iblees refused.

Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow), Chapter 2, Verse 34:

2:34

"And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers."
(Quran 2:34)
