Religion

Religion is a set of rules to follow. We need religion, to help us making decision between good and bad. All mankind need religion. Even, to cross a road we need rule to follow. Otherwise we will be fined, or get hit by car.

It is important to choose one true religion to follow, otherwise we will be in loss and wasting our time. A good religion must have a scripture authored by the God, for the followers to follow and refer. The scripture will be refer as guidance. A good religion should have a perfect rules to follow, in term of worshiping the God, to living our daily life and way to enter paradise.

There is only one God. The God that create the sun, moon, planets, universe, human being, animals, plants and other living things. The God is the creator. Every creation has its creator. So the creator mention about His own creation in the scripture. The scripture is like a manual of instruction to follow. For example, when you buy a new car, the car manufacturer will give you a car manual to refer. So similar concept to the scripture, we refer to the scripture for the instructions and guidance from God. It is important to define and know the God, before you become the follower of any religion.

Scripture as the book of 'signs' by God. We should relate the reality of this life to His creation. We should not ignore the 'signs' of God's existence.

The root of mankind and religion

We are all from the same root, of Prophet Adam and Eve. We are all come from the same religion. The religion of Prophet Adam. Since the beginning of mankind, the prophet told us to worship one same God. The same Creator. The history of mankind and religion, came from Middle East.

2:213

"Mankind was [of] one religion [before their deviation]; then Allah sent the prophets as bringers of good tidings and warners and sent down with them the Scripture in truth to judge between the people concerning that in which they differed. And none differed over the Scripture except those who were given it - after the clear proofs came to them - out of jealous animosity among themselves. And Allah guided those who believed to the truth concerning that over which they had differed, by His permission. And Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path." (Quran 2:213)

Surat Yūnus (Jonah), Chapter 10, Verse 19:

10:19

"And mankind was not but one community [united in religion], but [then] they differed. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been judged between them [immediately] concerning that over which they differ." (Quran 10:19)
